Chartreuse-colored bait. A bit of a followup on a story we did last week. Remember the glow-in-the-dark genetically-engineered zebra fish?

Well, I got an e-mail from Ray, a listener, telling me: "No big deal. I fish with glow-in-the-dark nightcrawlers."

He turned me on to the Fishin' Hole Bait & Tackle Shop in Kremmling. So we made a phone call to find out they're not quite glow-in-the-dark, but they are bright — chartreuse, no less:

FYI: the Fishin' Hole is at the intersection of Highways 40 and 9 in Kremmling. The chartreuse nightcrawlers are $2.99 per dozen.




Polar bears are at home in the snow at the Denver Zoo

The Front Range got some much needed snow last Monday.

On Tuesday morning, the Denver Zoo had several inches of snow on the ground.

We were wondering how the critters at the Denver Zoo were faring ... the polar bears, for example:
