What it lacks in lifespan, it makes up for in beauty.

The Aurora Ice Hotel opened this week outside Fairbanks, Alaska.

A two-night stay will set you back 880 bucks. It's a bit expensive, but that tariff, we're told, includes a heated room at the adjacent hotel and passes to the adjacent hot spring.

FYI: There are similar ice hotels in Sweden, Finland & Canada ... but now America has the Aurora Ice Hotel ... for now.
